LCI has diversified into shoe manufacturing from year 2006. A modern factory manufacturing and exporting up to 30,000 pairs per month is currently in operation at Chennai. Shoe Uppers to cater our internal requirements are also being manufactured in-house.
We have set-up a joint venture company by name of Crew MAG Exports Ltd. The proposed JV will have an installed capacity of 75,000 pairs per month by 3rd quarter of 2009. This venture is coming in Mahindra World City (MWC), a Special Economic Zone. A corresponding increase in shoe uppers is also being set-up.
